Part detective, part designer, Nathaniel directs the user insight and design strategy efforts for large-scale projects across industries like transportation, healthcare, financial services, CPG, and entertainment.

A mobility expert focusing on design and innovation in the connected and autonomous car space, Nate is a frequent writer and contributor to publications such as WIRED and Telegraph UK, and appears as a regular speaker at events including TU-Automotive, Wards Auto and the Service Design Network conference.

He is passionate about getting to the root of people’s emotional and behavioral needs, and pushes clients to focus on building customer experiences rather than just creating products. He has a background in cultural anthropology and social psychology, alongside training in architecture and industrial design. Clients include Ford, NY Taxi & Limousine Commission, Cardinal Health, HSBC, Unilever, Samsung and Simprints.
