OXO partnered with Smart Design to reimagine its tot snack cup, an everyday parenting essential designed to support toddlers’ independence while minimizing mess. With the original product no longer in production, the opportunity was not simply to refresh an existing design, but to create a modern solution that better reflects how families live today. Fitting into fast-paced lifestyles was a must.

The resulting tot snack cup introduces a series of thoughtful improvements. A soft, flexible silicone lid allows children to access snacks with ease while still reducing spills. A transparent body lets caregivers quickly see when it’s time for a refill. The handle was reconfigured and repositioned to better fit toddlers’ ergonomic needs and enable independent use. The repositioning also gives it the advantage of compatibility with standard stroller and car seat cupholders.
