Ed Laganis on re-imagining the in-car experience

Smart’s New York-based Design Engineering Director, Ed Laganis, has been selected to speak at this year’s TU Automotive conference on June 8.

The 2017 conference centers around delivering a personalized mobility experience, and will explore several topics under the themes Smart Cities & Urban Mobility, Engaging the Customer: UX, ADAS & Autonomous, Business Strategy, and Wireless Infrastructure. Alongside other industry experts from Panasonic Automotive, SRI International and WardsAuto, Ed will share his perspective in the panel segment HMI: Re-imagining in-car experiences.

Ed has over 15 years’ experience in the industry and regularly contributes to events that cover entrepreneurship, design and emerging technologies. As a passionate driver himself, Ed participates in high performance racing events, bringing these experiences and excitement to Smart’s automotive innovation initiatives.
