Smart Design hires Kelly Clark as new Interaction Design Lead

With over 20 years’ in user-centered design and brand experience, Kelly Clark has been appointed to the role of VP, Design in Smart’s New York studio. A strategic thinker with extensive expertise in digital design, interface design, user experience and research, she brings considerable depth to Smart’s growing interaction design and technology team.

Kelly joins Smart from software company Originate, where she expanded the digital design practice and capabilities, establishing solid user experience and research foundations, product development methodologies and design processes. Prior to that, she held senior roles at digital agencies and large companies including College Board, LBi and Sapient, and ran her own award-winning digital design studio in San Francisco, Bright Wire. With diverse sector expertise including financial services, technology, retail, media, and education, Kelly’s client roster has included Apple, Bank of America, Capital One, Discovery Channel, HP, Intel, Oracle and Williams-Sonoma.
