WardsAuto:

What are people really going to do in autonomous cars?

Event

The 2017 Wards Auto UX conference will explore how new technologies might converge for great mobility experiences, and will showcasing keynote speakers from leading automakers, panel discussions on UX topics and exhibits from leading tech suppliers.

Smart’s Strategy Director, Nate Giraitis, will join other experts on the customer experience topic: What are people really going to do in autonomous cars?, narrowing in on how humans will interact with self-driving vehicles, fellow passengers and the outside world. The panel will delve into how consumer wants and needs will evolve in the age of autonomy, and whether too much of the focus is about what emerging technology can do, as opposed to how it can match and even exceed passenger expectations.

Moderated by Alan Manna of Bosch, Nate will be joined by Chris Rockwell, Founder and CEO of Lextant, and Chris Schreiner, Director UX Practice, Strategy Analytics. For Nate’s perspective on creating iconic autonomous cars, check out his recent article in Wards Auto.
