The BIMA Awards are the longest standing and most prestigious digital awards in the UK. Since 1985, The British Interactive Media Association has been focused on driving innovation and excellence across the digital industry with values of enabling community, celebrating individuals and embedding diversity into the digital ecosystem.

Our work with Simprints has been honored as a 2017 shortlist BIMA nominee in the Product and Service design category: Innovation, honoring the innovative nature of products and services early in the life cycle of a new technology. Together with Simprints, we designed a healthcare experience to deliver the necessary technology to access services that will bridge the identification gap in developing countries. Empowering Simprints with Design Thinking capability, we involved the team in every design step, and trained and guided them on a wide range of design research tools, protocols and techniques to facilitate ongoing innovation for their organization.

Recognizing the most innovative projects with the potential for new value and disruption, this year’s Product and Service Design jury was lead by Julie Dodd, Director of Digital Transformation and Communication at Parkinson’s UK and supported by a team of industry leaders.
