Sarah puts processes into place that help designers, engineers, and strategists to do what they do best – impact the world through design.

She has worked across a variety of industries including finance, e-commerce and design consulting. Prior to her role at Smart, Sarah built a foundation from scratch for the first HR department at a 50-person start-up company. At Smart, Sarah was one of the founding partners for Pledge Parental Leave, an initiative to establish a 12-week fully paid parental leave standard in the creative industry. With a bachelor’s in business management and a master’s in HR, Sarah is also SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified.
